Mixed martial arts (MMA) stands as a dynamic full-contact combat sport that integrates striking and grappling techniques, both standing and on the ground, sourced from a multitude of martial arts disciplines. Its origins can be traced back to ancient times, notably in the sport of Pankration at the ancient Olympics, showcasing one of the earliest documented systems of comprehensive unarmed combat. Throughout the early 1900s, mixed-style contests flourished across Europe, Japan, and the Pacific Rim.

In Brazil during the 1920s, the combat sport of Vale Tudo emerged, laying the groundwork for modern MMA. This tradition was propelled onto the global stage when the Gracie family introduced it to the United States in 1993 through the establishment of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), now recognized as the premier MMA promotion company worldwide

Our Advanced MMA classes are by invitation only. While these sessions primarily cater to our amateur and professional fighters, newcomers are welcome too.
